Lori Finch
Lori brings a fresh new twist to the ancient practice of Asthanga yoga. It is Lori’s belief that any yoga practice belongs to the student. Following that belief, the direction of Lori’s teaching is toward developing a safe, enjoyable and life-long practice.
The traditional Asthanga practice emphasizes the breath and bhandas (internal engagements) through a continuous flow of postures. The added emphasis on structural alignment and safety as well as the integration of modified postures into the practice make Lori a truly unique and beloved teacher. Classes are free from judgment, expectation or pressure to achieve.
Lori began her yoga practice in 1998. As her love for the practice grew, she continued to deepen her knowledge through workshops, intensive trainings and individual study. She has studied with many gifted teachers including David Swenson, David Williams, Tias Little, Manouso Manos, Roger Cole and in 2002 had the privilege to study with Pattabhi Jois in New York.

people reach their personal health goals. She feels strongly that
everyone is an individual creation and her classes encourage you to be
just that. No comparing, no judgement, just come and practice.

dabbled in many styles of yoga, but as of today Ashtanga based is her
